What is Assam Orunodoi 3.0?
Orunodoi 3.0 is Assam Government's flagship monthly income support scheme for women — launched October 2025 as expanded version of Orunodoi 2.0 (December 2020). Provides ₹1,250/month (~₹15,000/year) credited directly to eligible women's bank accounts. Plus additional ₹9,000 Bihu festival lump-sum credited March 2026 (covering 4 months arrears + festival bonus). Targets 40+ lakh women beneficiaries — making it one of the largest women DBT schemes in India. Targeted at women heads of family, widows, divorcees, separated women, women from BPL households. Aadhaar-linked DBT.
