What is AP Talliki Vandanam?
Talliki Vandanam (Mother's Salute) is the flagship education welfare scheme of Andhra Pradesh government launched January 2025 — replacing the earlier YSR Amma Vodi scheme. Provides ₹15,000 annually to mothers of every school-going child in Andhra Pradesh from Class 1 to Intermediate (Class 12), credited directly to mother's bank account. Eliminates Amma Vodi's BPL-only requirement — now covers MORE families (including non-BPL children attending government schools). Annual budget: ₹9,400+ crore covering 70+ lakh students. Implemented through Andhra Pradesh Grama Sachivalayam.
