What is AP Nethanna Bharosa?
AP Nethanna Bharosa is Andhra Pradesh's investment support scheme for handloom weavers providing ₹25,000 per year per weaver family. Launched by the TDP government in 2024, the scheme covers over 1 lakh handloom weaver families in Andhra Pradesh's traditional weaving centres (Ongole, Mangalagiri, Venkatagiri, Chirala, Uppada). Amount is transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts in 2 instalments.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹25,000/year per handloom weaver family — 2 instalments via DBT. The scheme was launched in 2024 and is implemented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
