What is Telangana Yuvanidhi?
Telangana Yuvanidhi (Youth Wealth) is the Congress government's flagship unemployment allowance scheme launched 2024 — a key election guarantee. Provides ₹3,000/month unemployment allowance to graduates and post-graduates from Telangana who are unable to find employment despite completing education. Modelled on Karnataka's similar Yuva Nidhi scheme. Targets 5-7 lakh educated unemployed youth in Telangana with budget allocation of ₹2,500+ crore annually. Application through Telangana Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Mission portal.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹3,000/month unemployment allowance for up to 24 months for Telangana graduates/PGs unable to find employment. The scheme was launched in 2024 and is implemented by the Government of Telangana.
