What is Rythu Bandhu Telangana?
Telangana Rythu Bandhu is a farmer investment support scheme run by the state's Department of Agriculture that provides ₹5,000 per acre per crop season (Kharif and Rabi) directly to landowner farmers as pre-sowing financial assistance. The aim is to free farmers from high-interest private loans at the start of each season so they can buy seeds, fertiliser and other inputs without borrowing.
