What is TS Minority Scholarship?
Telangana Minority Welfare Department provides pre and post-matric scholarships with full tuition fee reimbursement and ₹500–₹1,200/month maintenance to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi community students.

Common Mistakes — Why TS Minority Scholarship Applications Get Rejected
- ✗Applying without the Minority Community Certificate issued by the MRO; a self-declaration of religion is not accepted and the application gets rejected at verification.
- ✗Submitting an Income Certificate that shows family income at or above Rs 2 lakh, or an outdated certificate, which fails the below-Rs-2-lakh income check.
- ✗Giving a bank account that is not linked to Aadhaar, so the tuition fee reimbursement and the Rs 500 to Rs 1,200 monthly maintenance cannot be credited.
- ✗Missing the institution bonafide certificate, fee receipt or previous year marksheet, leaving the post-matric or pre-matric claim incomplete and delayed.
