What is KCR Kit Telangana?
KCR Kit (now referred to as 'Rajanna Kit' under the current government) is a maternal and child health scheme of the Telangana Department of Health, Medical & Family Welfare. It provides ₹12,000 cash assistance for a baby boy or ₹13,000 for a baby girl, paid in instalments, along with a kit of 16 items such as baby clothes, a blanket, mosquito net, soap, baby oil and feeding accessories, to mothers who deliver at government hospitals.
