⚠️

Common Mistakes — Why Palanhar Yojana Applications Get Rejected

  • Child not enrolled — under-6 children must be in an Anganwadi and 6–18 must be in school; non-enrolment stops the payment.
  • Family income certificate above ₹1.20 lakh.
  • Missing the parent's death/disability certificate (or proof of imprisonment) for the qualifying category.
  • Bank account not Aadhaar-linked, so the monthly DBT payment fails.
  • Not submitting the yearly school/Anganwadi continuation certificate — payments pause until enrolment is re-verified.
💡

Insider Tips for Palanhar Yojana

  • Submit the annual school/Anganwadi continuation certificate on time — Palanhar payments are released against proof the child is still studying.
  • Keep the Aadhaar-linked bank account active to avoid DBT failures.
  • Apply at an e-Mitra kiosk or the district Social Justice & Empowerment office; you can also use sje.rajasthan.gov.in.
  • The amount steps up from ₹1,500/month to ₹2,500/month once the child turns 6 — make sure the child's age is recorded correctly.
  • It is free — never pay a middleman to file the application.
