What is Indira Mahila Shakti Udyam?
Indira Mahila Shakti Udyam Protsahan Yojana is Rajasthan government's women entrepreneurship scheme providing bank loans of ₹5 lakh to ₹1 crore to women entrepreneurs and SHG (Self Help Group) federations with a 25% subsidy (maximum ₹25 lakh) on the loan amount. The scheme targets individual women entrepreneurs, SHG members, and Women Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) who want to start or expand a business in Rajasthan. Priority is given to SC/ST/OBC women and women in rural areas. Additionally, women in the manufacturing sector can get loans up to ₹5 crore with 25% subsidy capped at ₹1.25 crore. Launched in 2019–20 by the Congress government and continued by the subsequent BJP government.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Bank loan ₹5 lakh–₹1 crore with 25% subsidy (max ₹25 lakh) | SHGs: up to ₹5 crore with 25% subsidy (max ₹1.25 crore). The scheme was launched in 2019 and is implemented by the Government of Rajasthan.
