What is Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana?
Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana provides free 4G smartphones with 3-year internet connectivity to women heads of Chiranjeevi families and enrolled girl students. The scheme distributed 1.35 crore smartphones in Phase 1 and Phase 2. The phone comes pre-loaded with government apps and includes SIM with 3-year data plan.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Free 4G smartphone + 3-year internet SIM + pre-loaded government apps. The scheme was launched in 2023 and is implemented by the Government of Rajasthan.
