What is Nagaland Women SHG Empowerment?
Nagaland Women Empowerment through Self Help Groups is implemented under the National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) and NRLM framework. Women SHG members can access revolving fund assistance of ₹15,000 per group and micro-enterprise loans of ₹50,000 to ₹2 lakh at subsidized rates. The programme covers SHG formation, financial literacy, skill training in weaving (Naga textiles), food processing, bamboo crafts, and poultry. Naga Women's Union and Village Councils participate in community mobilization.
