What is Nagaland PMAY-G Housing?
Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), Nagaland BPL rural families get ₹1.5 lakh in plain/semi-hilly areas and ₹2 lakh in hilly and difficult areas for pucca house construction. Nagaland supplements this with state funds for tribal housing. All houses include toilet (Swachh Bharat), electricity (Saubhagya), and LPG (PMUY) connections. Selection is through SECC 2011 data verified by Gram Sabha. Nagaland's difficult terrain and tribal land systems make housing construction a high-priority state goal.
