What is JSSK Free Delivery Scheme?
Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram (JSSK) is a central government initiative under the National Health Mission (NHM) that entitles ALL pregnant women delivering in government health facilities to absolutely FREE and cashless services — including C-section delivery, medicines, diagnostics (blood tests, ultrasound), diet, blood transfusion, and free transport (drop home after discharge). How to Apply for JSSK Free Delivery Scheme Online?

- 2Carry Aadhaar card if you have it, plus MCH/Mamta card or JSY card if already registered, though not mandatory.
- 3The facility provides free normal or C-section delivery along with free medicines and implants.
- 4Free diagnostics such as blood tests and ultrasound are done at the same government facility.
- 5Free diet is provided during the stay — 3 days for normal delivery, 7 days for C-section.
