What is Manipur Women SHG Revolving Fund?
Under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Manipur receive revolving fund loans of ₹50,000 to ₹2 lakh for micro-enterprises. Priority sectors include traditional Moirangphee and Phanek handloom weaving, food processing (fermented soybean/ngari/ hawaijar), bamboo crafts, and petty trade. SHGs with 6 months of regular savings and credit history are eligible for the Community Investment Fund (CIF). Interest subvention under DAY-NRLM reduces effective interest to 7% per annum.
