What is CMHT — Chief Minister Health for All Manipur?
Chief Minister's Health for All (CMHT) is Manipur Government's flagship health insurance scheme providing cashless treatment up to ₹5 lakh per family per year to BPL and economically weaker families. Launched to complement AB-PMJAY, CMHT extends coverage to Manipur families not covered under the central scheme. It covers hospitalisation, surgery, critical illness, maternity, and newborn care at empanelled government and private hospitals in Manipur. The scheme prioritises tribal communities, women, and Below Poverty Line families across Manipur's hills and valley districts. CMHT cards are issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹5 lakh per family per year cashless treatment — BPL / EWS families — hospitalisation, surgery, critical illness — Manipur empanelled hospitals. The scheme was launched in 2018 and is implemented by the Government of Manipur.
