What is Laadli Laxmi Yojana MP?
Madhya Pradesh Laadli Laxmi Yojana is one of India's first and most replicated girl-child welfare schemes, launched on April 1, 2007. It provides a cumulative benefit of ₹1,18,000+ to every registered girl child from birth to age 21 — through NSC purchases, education scholarships at key milestones, and a final lump sum of ₹1,00,000 at age 21. Laadli Laxmi 2.0 (2022) additionally provides ₹25,000 higher-education scholarship for professional courses. Over 45 lakh girls have been benefited. The scheme is administered by the Women & Child Development Department, MP, at ladlilaxmi.mp.gov.in.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Total ₹1,18,000+: ₹30,000 NSC (5 yrs) + education grants at Class 6/9/11/12 + ₹1,00,000 at age 21. Laadli Laxmi 2.0: additional ₹25,000 for professional/higher education. The scheme was launched in 2007 and is implemented by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Who is Eligible for Laadli Laxmi Yojana MP?
- ✓ Girl child born in Madhya Pradesh (applies from second girl child in BPL families from 2007; now all registered families)
- ✓ Family must not be an income tax payer
- ✓ Girl must be registered with Anganwadi (ICDS) within 1 year of birth
- ✓ Parents must have adopted family planning after the 2nd girl child (norm as per scheme guidelines)
- ✓ Girl must be unmarried at the time of claiming ₹1,00,000 final lump sum (age 21)
- ✓ Must have passed Class 12 (or be enrolled in higher education) to claim the final ₹1,00,000
- ✓ Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- ✓ For Laadli Laxmi 2.0 ₹25,000: enrolled in professional course (engineering, medical, law, MBA, B.Sc Agriculture, etc.) in a recognised institution

- 2ladlilaxmi.mp.gov.in पर ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण करें — Samagra ID और Aadhaar से लॉगिन
- 3बालिका का जन्म प्रमाण पत्र, माता-पिता का Aadhaar, BPL/आय प्रमाण और बैंक पासबुक अपलोड करें
