What is Krishak Jeevan Kalyan Yojana MP?
Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Krishak Jeevan Kalyan Yojana provides government-funded accident and death insurance to all farmers of Madhya Pradesh. In case of death (any cause including accident), the farmer's family receives ₹2 lakh ex-gratia. Total disability (both limbs/eyes) gets ₹2 lakh, partial disability (one limb or eye) gets ₹1 lakh, and ₹4,000 for last rites assistance. The scheme covers farmers owning or leasing agricultural land, aged 18–70, who are the head of the family and engaged in farming. Claims must be filed within 30 days through the Tehsildar/Patwari.
