What is Jharkhand Guruji Credit Card?
Jharkhand Guruji Credit Card Yojana launched in 2024 provides education loans up to ₹15 lakh at only 4% annual interest (after government interest subsidy) for higher education in India and abroad. No collateral required for loans up to ₹7.5 lakh. State government pays the interest difference — student pays only 4%. Targets students from economically weaker sections pursuing graduation, PG, engineering, medical, MBA, law. Implemented through empanelled banks.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Education loan up to ₹15 lakh at 4% annual interest — Jharkhand students for higher education in India/abroad. The scheme was launched in 2024 and is implemented by the Government of Jharkhand.
