What is JSDMS Skill Development JH?
Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society (JSDMS) provides free skill training to youth in manufacturing, IT/ITeS, retail, hospitality, construction, agriculture, healthcare, and beauty trades. Training duration: 3–12 months. Stipend during training: ₹1,000-3,000/month. Post-training job placement support through JSDMS-empanelled industry partners. SC/ST, women, BPL youth given admission priority. Over 5 lakh youth trained since inception. Apply at jsdms.nic.in or nearest JSDMS training centre.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive FREE skill training + ₹1,000-3,000/month stipend + placement support — Jharkhand youth. The scheme was launched in 2014 and is implemented by the Government of Jharkhand.
