What is Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana CG?
Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana (RGKNY) is Chhattisgarh's flagship agriculture support scheme that provides direct input subsidy to farmers per acre based on crop type: Paddy (₹10,000/acre), Sugarcane (₹13,000/acre), Corn/Maize (₹9,000/acre), and Soybean (₹9,000/acre). Horticulture farmers receive up to ₹18,000/acre for shifting to fruit/vegetable crops. Subsidy is transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts via DBT.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹9,000–18,000/acre input subsidy via DBT — based on crop: paddy, sugarcane, maize, soybean, horticulture. The scheme was launched in 2020 and is implemented by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
