What is Mahtari Vandan Yojana?
Mahtari Vandan Yojana is Chhattisgarh government's flagship women empowerment scheme launched in February 2024. Every married woman in Chhattisgarh receives ₹1,000 per month (₹12,000/year) directly to her Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT. Over 70 lakh married women across all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh benefit from this scheme.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹1,000/month DBT to Aadhaar-linked bank account — ₹12,000/year. The scheme was launched in 2024 and is implemented by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
