What is Tripura TTAADC Tribal Welfare Development?
Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Tribal Welfare Development Fund supports the livelihood and education of tribal communities including Tripuri (Borok), Reang (Bru), Chakma, Jamatia, Halam, Noatia, and other recognized tribes. The fund provides agricultural development grants, vocational training, scholarship top-ups, traditional craft revival support, and community infrastructure development in the 68% tribal area of Tripura. TTAADC administers this under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive Livelihood grants, educational support, vocational training, and agricultural development assistance for TTAADC tribal communities in Tripura. The scheme was launched in 1985 and is implemented by the Government of Tripura.
