What is Tripura CM Jan Arogya Yojana?
Tripura Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana (CM-JAY) extends cashless hospitalisation coverage up to ₹5 lakh per family per year to all Tripura families not covered under AB-PMJAY (Ayushman Bharat). The scheme plugs the gap left by PMJAY, ensuring that lower-middle-class and other economically vulnerable households have access to quality inpatient care, surgeries, maternity services, neonatal care, and critical illness treatment at all empanelled government and private hospitals across Tripura. Administered by the State Health Agency, Government of Tripura.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹5 lakh per family per year cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals — for all Tripura families not covered under AB-PMJAY. The scheme was launched in 2020 and is implemented by the Government of Tripura.
