What is A&N PMAY-Gramin Housing Scheme?
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) in Andaman & Nicobar Islands provides financial assistance of ₹1.3 lakh to BPL rural households for construction of a pucca house with basic amenities. The A&N Islands have a slightly higher unit cost than mainland states due to transportation and material costs. Additionally, 90 person-days of unskilled labour under MGNREGS is provided.
