How to Apply for PMSS-CAPF Scholarship Online?

  1. 1Register on the National Scholarships Portal (scholarships.gov.in) as a ward or widow of ex-Defence or CAPF personnel.
  2. 2Obtain the parent's service certificate from the Record Office of the concerned Army/Navy/Air Force/Coast Guard/CAPF unit.
  3. 3Upload the PPO of pension or family pension along with the Class 12 marksheet showing 60%+ marks.
  4. 4Attach admission proof of the professional course, such as engineering, medical, MBA, dental, or veterinary.
  5. 5Submit the income certificate and Aadhaar-linked bank passbook details on the portal.
  6. 6Application is verified by the Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (Defence wards) or Ministry of Home Affairs (CAPF wards).
  7. 7On approval, ₹3,000 (boys) or ₹3,250 (girls) per month is credited to the bank account for the course duration.
