National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC), set up on 24 January 1997 under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, is a 'Not for Profit' Government of India company that serves as the Apex Corporation for socio-economic upliftment of Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers, and their dependents across India. NSKFDC operates the Self Employment Scheme for Rehabilitation of Manual Scavengers (SRMS) under the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 — providing ₹3.25 lakh one-time cash subsidy plus concessional loans for alternative livelihood. Who is Eligible for NSKFDC Loan Scheme?

How to Apply for NSKFDC Loan Scheme Online?

  1. 1Visit your State Channelizing Agency (SCA) — typically State SC/ST Welfare Corporation or State Safai Karamchari Finance Corporation
  2. 2Alternatively, approach any branch of a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) or Nationalised Bank empanelled by NSKFDC
