What is MIDH Horticulture Mission?
Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare that covers development of horticulture — fruits, vegetables, flowers, roots and tubers, mushrooms, spices, aromatic plants, coconut, cashew, and bamboo. MIDH provides 40% to 90% subsidy for area expansion, nursery establishment, protected cultivation (greenhouse/polyhouse), post-harvest management, cold chain infrastructure, market linkage, and mechanisation. Key components: National Horticulture Mission (NHM) for states; Horticulture Mission for North East & Himalayan States (HMNEH); National Horticulture Board (NHB) for commercial horticulture. How to Apply for MIDH Horticulture Mission Online?
