What is Mahila e-Haat?
Mahila e-Haat is a unique direct online marketing platform launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development through the Rashtriya Mahila Kosh (RMK) — exclusively for women entrepreneurs, women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and women-led NGOs/cooperatives to showcase and sell their handmade and unique products to buyers across India. The platform eliminates middlemen, ensuring that women retain maximum profits from their sales. Mahila e-Haat allows free listing — there is NO registration fee, listing fee, or commission charged by the government. The platform has onboarded 3 lakh+ women entrepreneurs since launch and supports products in 18+ categories: handicrafts, textile and clothing, jewellery, home decor, bags and accessories, ready-to-eat foods, organic produce, ayurvedic and herbal products, gift items, paintings and artwork, and more. Buyers transact directly with the seller via her contact details; Mahila e-Haat acts purely as a discovery platform.

Who is Eligible for Mahila e-Haat?
- ✓Indian woman entrepreneur aged 18 years and above
- ✓Women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs) recognised under DAY-NRLM or state SHG networks
- ✓Women-led NGOs, Cooperatives, Trusts, or Section 8 companies
- ✓Products must be handmade, handcrafted, locally produced, or uniquely curated by women
- ✓Must have valid business registration (Udyam / GST / shop and establishment / SHG registration)
- ✓Must have valid PAN, Aadhaar, and bank account in the woman's / SHG's name

How to Apply for Mahila e-Haat Online?
- 1Visit Mahila e-Haat official portal mahilaehaat-rmk.gov.in
- 2Click 'New User Registration' → choose 'Individual Woman Entrepreneur' or 'Women's SHG/NGO'
- 3Enter mobile number → verify OTP → create login credentials
- 4Fill the registration form — name, Aadhaar, PAN, business address, business type, year of establishment
- 5Add bank account details (only in name of woman/SHG) for receipt of buyer payments
- 6Upload required documents — Aadhaar, PAN, business registration, bank passbook
- 7Click 'Add Product' — upload high-quality photos (minimum 3 per product), pricing, descriptions, available quantity
- 8Set product category and tags — categories include handicrafts, textile, jewellery, food, home decor, etc.
- 9Save and publish your product — listing goes live on Mahila e-Haat within 24-48 hours after RMK verification
- 10Buyers contact you directly through the platform — receive orders, dispatch products, receive payment in your bank account
