What is Skill India Digital Hub?
Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) is a comprehensive digital platform launched in September 2023 by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). SIDH aggregates skill development, education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities in one place. Users can: (1) Access 7,500+ free courses across PMKVY, NCS, and partner platforms; (2) Get personalised skill recommendations using AI; (3) Find job and apprenticeship opportunities via NCS integration; (4) Receive digital skill certificates (NCVET-verified); (5) Apply for entrepreneurship and self-employment loans. SIDH is the ONE-STOP SHOP for skill seekers, integrating PMKVY, NAPS, NATS, NCS, DDU-GKY, eKaushal, ASEEM, and other government skill initiatives.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive FREE access to 7,500+ skill courses + AI-based personalised recommendations + job/apprenticeship search + NCVET-verified digital certificates + entrepreneurship support — all in one platform. PM Vishwakarma registration is done OFFLINE at CSC centres using Aadhaar biometric — you cannot register directly online without CSC. Go to your nearest Common Service Centre with your Aadhaar card. Registration is completely FREE.
