What is PM MITRA Textile Parks?
Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) is a flagship scheme to develop 7 mega textile parks across India with a total outlay of ₹4,445 crore (2021–2028). The 7 parks are located in: Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu), Warangal (Telangana), Navsari (Gujarat), Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Dhar (Madhya Pradesh), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), and Amravati (Maharashtra). Each park has world-class plug-and-play infrastructure for spinning, weaving, processing, dyeing, printing, and garment manufacturing in one location. PM MITRA aims to create 20 lakh direct and 70 lakh indirect jobs, attract Rs 70,000 crore in investment, and boost textile exports.

- 2Textile firms (spinning, weaving, processing, dyeing, garment units) submit company registration (CIN/GST) to the relevant park's SPV
- 3Submit an investment proposal and project plan for one of the 7 park sites (Virudhunagar, Warangal, Navsari, Kalaburagi, Dhar, Lucknow, Amravati)
- 4Apply to the SPV for land allotment inside the plug-and-play park for your spinning, weaving, or garment unit
- 5Furnish the bank guarantees the SPV requires to secure the allotted plot and confirm unit setup
