About this housing scheme
Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu UT implements both PMAY-Gramin (rural BPL housing — ₹1.2 lakh) and PMAY-Urban (urban BPL/EWS/LIG housing — up to ₹2.5 lakh subsidy) for eligible families. Under PMAY-G, rural BPL families get ₹1.2 lakh + 90 days MGNREGS wages for pucca house construction. Under PMAY-U Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), EWS/LIG families get home loan interest subsidy of up to ₹2.67 lakh. Silvassa has a significant tribal ST population that gets priority under PMAY-G.

- ✓ PMAY-U CLSS: EWS (income up to ₹3 lakh/year) or LIG (₹3–₹6 lakh/year) — first-time homebuyers
- ✓ Priority to SC/ST, women-headed households, and differently-abled
- ✓ Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT
