What is Chandigarh Post-Matric SC/ST Scholarship?
The Chandigarh Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students provides financial assistance of up to ₹15,000 per year to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students who have passed Class 10 (Matric) and are pursuing higher education in recognised institutions in or outside Chandigarh UT. The scheme covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and study material costs. It is centrally-sponsored and implemented by the Chandigarh UT Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the National Scholarships Portal.
