Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) Phase 2 was launched with a target of constructing 2 crore new pucca houses for rural families between 2024 and 2029. The new beneficiary lists for 2026 are being finalised at the state and district level. If you applied earlier or are in the Awaiting List (AWL), here's how to check your status and what to do next.

How to Check Your Name in PMAY-G 2026 List

1. Go to pmayg.nic.in
2. Click on "Stakeholders" → "IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary"
3. Enter your Registration Number (if you have one) OR
4. Click "Advanced Search" → Enter your state, district, block, panchayat and name
5. Your beneficiary status and house construction stage will be displayed

How to Check PMAY-G Payment Status

1. Go to pfms.nic.in or pmayg.nic.in
2. Click "Know Your Payment"
3. Enter your bank account number and select your bank
4. Payment history with installment dates will appear

Who is Eligible for PMAY-G 2026?

• Houseless families (no pucca house) in rural areas
• Families living in kutcha (temporary) houses — 0, 1, or 2-room
• SC/ST families, minorities, freed bonded labourers on priority
• Families must be on SECC-2011 data or Awaiting List (AWL)
• Annual income limit: below ₹3 lakh per year (for new registrations)

How to Apply (New Registration)

1. Contact your Gram Panchayat or Block Development Office (BDO)
2. Submit application with Aadhaar, ration card, bank passbook, land certificate
3. Your name gets entered in the Awaiting List (AWL) on AwaasSoft
4. When house allotment is approved, you receive an SMS on registered mobile
5. Funds are released in 3–4 installments directly to your bank account
