What is Puducherry Women SHG Loan Scheme?
The Puducherry Women Self-Help Group (SHG) Revolving Fund and Loan Scheme provides a seed revolving fund of ₹15,000 per SHG and loans of ₹1–₹5 lakh at 0% interest to registered women SHGs in Puducherry UT. Implemented by the Women & Child Development Department. SHGs can avail the revolving fund after six months of regular savings. Additional bank-linked loans under the DAY-NRLM/SRLM framework are available at subsidised rates. Over 5,000 women SHGs in Puducherry benefit from this scheme.
