The Maharashtra government has approved and disbursed the 8th installment of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana in March 2026, with a fund of ₹1,774 crore approved for over 90 lakh 34 thousand farmers across Maharashtra. Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane confirmed the payment was processed after PM-KISAN's 22nd installment was released on 13 March 2026.

What is Namo Shetkari Yojana?
Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana is a Maharashtra state scheme that mirrors the central PM-KISAN scheme. It provides ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmers in three installments of ₹2,000 every four months. Combined with PM-KISAN's ₹6,000, Maharashtra farmers receive a total of ₹12,000 per year in direct income support.

राज्यातील लाखो शेतकऱ्यांना आर्थिक दिलासा देणारा महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय राज्य शासनाने घेतला असून, नमो शेतकरी महासन्मान निधी योजनेचा ८ वा हप्ता मार्च २०२६ मध्ये थेट शेतकऱ्यांच्या बँक खात्यात जमा करण्यात आला. या हप्त्यासाठी ₹१,७७४ कोटी निधी वितरीत करण्यास मान्यता देण्यात आली. राज्यातील सुमारे ९० लाख ३४ हजार पात्र शेतकऱ्यांना या निर्णयाचा लाभ मिळाला.
मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री सुनेत्रा पवार यांनी या हप्त्यासाठी निधी उपलब्ध करून दिला. केंद्र शासनाने PM-Kisan चा २२ वा हप्ता १३ मार्च २०२६ रोजी दिल्यानंतर राज्य शासनाने नमो शेतकरीचा ८वा हप्ता तत्काळ जारी केला.

- Click on "Beneficiary Status" in the Farmers Corner
- Enter your Aadhaar Number or registered mobile number
- Click "Get Data"
- Your PM-KISAN and Namo Shetkari installment history will be displayed
- You can also check at nsmny.mahait.org for state-level status
Why is Your Namo Shetkari Installment Not Coming?
- eKYC not completed � most common reason. Complete at pmkisan.gov.in
- Aadhaar not linked to bank account � visit your bank branch
- Land records mismatch (7/12 name issue) � contact taluka agriculture office
- PM-KISAN registration inactive � check at pmkisan.gov.in and rectify
- Duplicate registration � contact district agriculture office
How to Register for Namo Shetkari Yojana
No separate registration is needed. If you are a PM-KISAN registered farmer in Maharashtra, you are automatically eligible for Namo Shetkari benefits.
If you are not yet registered for PM-KISAN:
- Go to pmkisan.gov.in → "New Farmer Registration"
- Enter Aadhaar number, select Maharashtra
- Fill personal details, bank account, and 7/12 land records
- Submit � verification happens at taluka and district level
- Once PM-KISAN approved, Namo Shetkari benefits start automatically
Namo Shetkari 9th Installment � When to Expect?
Based on the 4-month cycle, the 9th installment (for December 2025�March 2026 period) is expected to be released around June�July 2026. Keep your eKYC updated and monitor pmkisan.gov.in for official announcements.
