CMEGP Maharashtra 2026 � How to Get ₹50 Lakh Business Loan with 35% Subsidy

The Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme (CMEGP) is Maharashtra's flagship scheme to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship. If you have a business idea and need funding, CMEGP can get you a loan of up to ₹50 lakh (manufacturing) or ₹20 lakh (service sector) with a 15�35% government subsidy � meaning a significant part of your loan never needs to be repaid.

Eligibility

• Maharashtra domicile, age 18�45 years (50 for special categories)
• Minimum 7th pass (projects above ₹10L), 10th pass (above ₹25L)
• New business only � no existing unit expansion
• One application per family
• Not availed PMEGP/PMRY benefit earlier

How to Apply at maha-cmegp.gov.in

1. Visit maha-cmegp.gov.in and register with Aadhaar
2. Fill in personal details, business type, loan amount required
3. Prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) � this is critical
4. Submit online � your nearest District Industries Centre (DIC) reviews the application
5. DIC recommends to the bank after shortlisting
6. Bank disburses the loan
7. After 3 years of successful operation � government subsidy is credited to your account

Detailed Project Report (DPR) हा आपल्या व्यवसायाचा विस्तृत आराखडा असतो ज्यात: व्यवसायाचे स्वरूप, कच्चा माल, उत्पादन/सेवा, बाजारपेठ, खर्चाचा तपशील आणि परताव्याचा अंदाज यांचा समावेश असतो. DIC कार्यालय किंवा MSME सुविधा केंद्र DPR तयार करण्यात मदत करू शकते.
