The Maharashtra government has set 30 April 2026 as the final deadline for eKYC verification under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. All 2.3 crore women beneficiaries who have not yet completed their eKYC must do so immediately � failure to complete eKYC will permanently stop monthly ₹1,500 payments.
What is Ladki Bahin Yojana?
Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched in July 2024 by the Maharashtra government. It provides ₹1,500 per month directly to the bank accounts of eligible women aged 21�65 years with annual family income below ₹2.5 lakh. As of April 2026, 17 installments have been disbursed to over 2.3 crore women across Maharashtra.
eKYC Deadline � 30 April 2026
The government has extended the eKYC deadline to 30 April 2026 (previously 31 March 2026). This is the final extension � no further extensions will be given.
Important: If eKYC is not completed by 30 April 2026, payments will be permanently stopped and your registration may be cancelled.
How to Complete eKYC for Ladki Bahin Yojana
Method 1 � Online (Self)
- Go to ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/sign-in
- Login with your registered mobile number and OTP
- Click on 'eKYC' option in the dashboard
- Enter your Aadhaar number
- Verify via OTP on Aadhaar-linked mobile number
- eKYC completed � you will receive a confirmation SMS
Method 2 � At Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra / CSC
- Visit your nearest Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra with Aadhaar card
- Complete biometric eKYC at the centre
- Take acknowledgement slip as proof of completion
Method 3 � Via Nari Shakti Doot App
- Download Nari Shakti Doot app from Play Store or App Store
- Login with your Ladki Bahin registration mobile number
- Select eKYC and complete Aadhaar verification
Who is Eligible for Ladki Bahin Yojana? (पात्रता)
- महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे रहिवाशी असणे आवश्यक
- विवाहीत, विधवा, घटस्फोटीत, परित्यक्ता, निराधार महिला (किंवा एक अविवाहित महिला)
- वय: किमान २१ वर्षे, कमाल ६५ वर्षे
- आधार लिंक बँक खाते असणे आवश्यक
- कुटुंबाचे वार्षिक उत्पन्न ₹२.५ लाखांपेक्षा कमी असणे आवश्यक
