Editor & PublisherFull Stack Developer

I break down complex Indian government schemes into clear, actionable guides — so every citizen knows what benefits they're entitled to and exactly how to claim them.

About me

I'm a Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications. I created Schemes In India because I saw a real gap — government scheme information is scattered across dozens of ministry portals, buried in PDF circulars, and written in jargon most citizens can't parse. This site fixes that.

Every article is researched from official sources (india.gov.in, ministry portals, PIB releases), written in plain language, and structured so it actually shows up when people search. I combine my technical background with SEO training to produce content that ranks and actually helps readers apply.

Based in Pune, Maharashtra.

My editorial role on this site

I lead editorial for every scheme page on Schemes In India. That means:

  • Deciding which central and state schemes we cover, based on citizen demand and official launch announcements
  • Researching each scheme directly from official .gov.in sources — the scheme portal, the nodal ministry's website, the operational guidelines PDF, and the launch notification
  • Reviewing every page against those primary sources before publication and signing off on it
  • Reading reader corrections and updating pages within 24–48 hours of a confirmed issue
  • Maintaining the site's 6-step editorial process and being publicly accountable for content on every page

I'm open about the fact that we use AI-assisted drafting to cover 1,000+ schemes at a level of depth that stays useful — the full workflow is documented under “How AI Assists Our Editorial Team”. AI drafts the shape; I check the facts and sign off. Nothing goes live without me reading it against the official source it cites.

The team behind the site

I don't run Schemes In India alone. A small editorial team of 3–4 contributors works with me on research, drafting, fact-checking and publishing. Team responsibilities split roughly along these lines:

Research

Scheme research analyst

Pulls each scheme's eligibility, benefit amount, documents, and application steps from the official .gov.in portal and ministry guidelines. Flags anything that doesn't match published rules.

Writing & SEO

Content writer / SEO editor

Turns the research brief into a plain-language guide, adds the FAQ block, and does the on-page SEO pass (keywords, headings, internal links). AI-assisted drafting sits inside this step.

Language review

Regional-language reviewer

Reviews the Hindi and regional-language summaries on scheme pages for accuracy and readability before publication — Marathi, Tamil, Bengali and Punjabi on the states where we publish those variants.

Publishing & QA

Publishing & site QA

Handles the deploy, checks that new pages render correctly on mobile and desktop, monitors broken links and Search Console errors, and runs the corrections queue when reader emails come in.

Final editorial sign-off on every page is mine. Team members work under a documented brief and against the same primary-source rule described in the Editorial Process.

Editorial standards I stand behind

  • Primary sources only. Facts on scheme pages come from official .gov.in domains, ministry press releases, the Gazette of India, and operational-guideline PDFs — never from other aggregator sites or WhatsApp forwards.
  • No paid placements. Coverage is decided by relevance to readers, not because anyone paid for it. Any future sponsored content will be labeled “Sponsored” and visually distinct from editorial.
  • Corrections within 24–48 hours. If you find something wrong, email me at contact@schemesinindia.in. Significant corrections carry a “Correction:” note at the top of the affected page.
  • Not a government site. Schemes In India is independent and not affiliated with any ministry or state department. We do not process applications, ask for Aadhaar numbers, or take bank details. Every scheme page links out to the official portal where the actual application is made.

How to reach me about the site

For anything related to Schemes In India — corrections, new scheme requests, editorial questions, or the Grievance Officer role under the IT Rules 2021 — the fastest way is email: contact@schemesinindia.in. I read every message and respond within 48 business hours. Full contact details, response timelines and grievance workflow are on the Contact page.
